The very first step is to open up the blinds. Letting in natural light is one of the fastest ways to improve the look of a room!

Natural light can, indeed, make a room look more beautiful, especially when it's near sunset. The orange shade is quite a sight when it touches a part of your room. Opening up your windows also allows fresh air to come inside your house, rejuvenating your lungs. =)
